I Am a Hero

Hideo Suzuki is a 35-year-old mangaka assistant, whose life seem to be stuck around his exhausting but low-paying job, unfulfilled dreams, strange hallucinations and unsatisfying relationships. He sees himself as a supporting character in his own life, has low self-esteem, resulting in frustration. One day, the world as Hideo knows it is shattered by the presence of a disease that turns people into homicidal maniacs, whose first instinct is to attack and devour the nearest human.

For all the 126 minutes this movie is running, there is not a minute that will be wasted watching it.

When it comes to movies of the genre Action, Comedy, Fantasy, Horror, Science Fiction, this film immediately comes to mind.

This movie was made in 2015 and is watched in one breath.

You have to hand it to Shinsuke Sato for putting together a great cast.

The play of the amazing actors as Jin Katagiri, Kasumi Arimura, Makita Sports, Masami Nagasawa, Muga Tsukaji, Nana Katase, Toru Kazama, Yo Oizumi, Yoshinori Okada, Yu Tokui, Yuki Yoshizawa deserves the highest praise!
